Network Calculus: a formal method for worst-case performance analysis
On October 7th, at 3 p.m., Prof. Giovanni Stea (University of Pisa), presents the seminar "Network Calculus: a formal method for worst-case performance analysis". The seminar will take place at the TeCIP Institute (Aula Blu).
Abstract
This talk will introduce Network Calculus, a formal method devised for worst-case performance analysis of networks. The talk will cover basic aspects, such as service and arrival curves, compositional features and the pay-burst-only-once principle. The talk will then address more advanced features, such as modelling FIFO multiplexing.
